I’m an information designer living and working in Harare, Zimbabwe.
I focus on creating elegant solutions to the design challenges of complex information. What do I mean by “elegant”? I mean efficient, adaptable, extendable, and process- and user-driven. Design can’t be beautiful if it’s not usable. Of course, “information” takes many forms. I have a lot of fun exploring and testing the fuzzy boundaries between them.
I most enjoy working on maps, print design scripting and automation, page layout, and typesetting, but I’m always keen to learn new skills.
I teach or have taught photography, typography, and scripting for design, and have run numerous training workshops.
When not behind my computer or camera I try to spend as much time as I can hunting out the best singletrack in Zimbabwe on my mountain bikes, or building new trails.
Have a look at my LinkedIn profile if you’d like to see where I’ve worked.
Get in touch if you’d like to work together or go trail building.
